The idea of documentation of furniture of Kumar collection came in 2016 when we visited their Highland Pune property with Mrs. Prajakta Kumar. It was indeed remarkable to see that all the furniture was well preserved and maintained. We suggested that it will be crucial to document the beautiful furniture and make a furniture catalogue. There were around fifty pieces to be documented. In 2017 we had an opportunity to stay at their Anjirbaug property (behind Daulatabad Fort, near Aurangabad) and appreciate another fifty pieces. After more than a year our Studio decided to do the documentation project. Four students pursuing architecture spent total of effective 272 days to complete the assignment.
