The project was designed with attention to the relation of the interior spaces with the noisy external world

The site is enclosed by overriding buildings on the eastern side and the rears of mid-scale bungalows on the southern and western sides, with no visual space for the eyes to rest. This project created the most unique of challenges, to create a home in the midst of prying balconies, while adding an aesthetic experience to the chaotic street. To achieve this, the simplest yet most powerful of elements were chosen to reach a balance between the peculiar quiet, introverted nature of the house with the flamboyant personality of its owner.
